Senior Accountant - International and Dynamic Environment

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing company operating in the service sector linked to healthcare, located in the Brussels region.

Missions / Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting scope, both general and analytical, across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial data.
• Record and follow up on day-to-day transactions (purchase and sales invoices, financial operations, and various accounting entries).
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with Belgian tax regulations.
• Actively participate in monthly and annual closings, including period-end entries and cut-off operations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper monitoring of customer and supplier balances.
• Carry out account reconciliations and ensure consistency of accounting records.
• Contribute to financial reporting and the preparation of dashboards for management.
• Participate in the continuous improvement and optimisation of accounting processes and internal tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and, when necessary, with external partners (accounting firms, auditors, etc.).

Profile Required

• Education Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent through experience.
• Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment.
• Technical skills Strong command of accounting tools and Excel. Good knowledge of accounting closings and Belgian tax obligations. ERP knowledge is an asset.
• Languages Fluent in French and strong professional level of English, both written and spoken.
• Personal qualities Rigorous, autonomous, analytical mindset, and strong team spirit. You are also proactive and solution-oriented.
