Supply Chain Manager - FMCG industry

Role Overview

A senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution within the FMCG/CPG sector. The position ensures operational efficiency, product availability, and high service levels across logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement logistics and distribution strategies aligned with business growth objectives
• Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and multi-tier distribution
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers, carriers, and logistics partners
• Drive cost optimization, network efficiency, and service performance (OTIF, CSL)
• Lead warehouse operations, capacity planning, and WMS improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
• Coordinate primary and secondary distribution to ensure timely product delivery
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, and Operations teams
• Lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams across multiple locations
• Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives (ERP, WMS, TMS)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong background in FMCG/CPG environments
• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution network management
• Experience managing 3PL providers and large-scale transport networks
• Strong commercial acumen and cost management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Familiarity with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA or certifications are a plus)
