Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage supplier quality programs, including supplier audits, performance evaluations, and corrective action management, to drive quality improvements in supplied materials and components.
Participate in quality investigations and root cause analysis
Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Verify effectiveness of quality control measures
Complete detailed quality documentation and reports
Support investigation and processing of customer and supplier claims
Coordinate with customer service regarding quality-related inquiries
Assist or lead maintaining Quality Management System documentation
Participate in internal and external quality audits
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Support food safety and regulatory compliance requirements
May be required to assist the Quality Supervisors in managing the hold tag process, following the OPM and related company processes, including daily reviews, updates in the ERP system, dispositions, and follow-up. Closing out in the system, investigating the root causes, retesting non-conforming Objective materials
Qualifications:
6 - 10 years of quality experience in manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of quality control tools and inspection methods
Proficiency in using measurement equipment and testing instruments
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
Experience with quality management systems
Knowledge of food safety requirements
Experience handling customer interactions professionally
Understanding of converting and films manufacturing processes
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift and handle objects weighing up to 30 pounds
Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to navigate manufacturing environment
Ability to climb steps and ladders
Visual acuity for extended periods of computer work and detailed inspections
Manual dexterity for operating computer and laboratory equipment Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses)
