Strategy
Lead and manage the implementation of Red Bull's commercial strategy in the vending channel.
Lead and manage the vending team with the appropriate commercial strategy to achieve the objectives set by the company.
Develop short- and medium-term customer strategies in line with the general national sales policy to ensure a presence in all vending machines.
Implement campaigns, activations and corporate strategies by working together with colleagues from other departments (MKT, On Premise).
Analysis and Planning
Analyse available data sources (e.g. Aneda, EVA and customer data) and derive customer’s growth opportunities.
Continuously plan sales forecast and prepare trade spend budget to hit profitability targets.
Develop plans for annual business and effective promotion.
Prepare yearly negotiations (including different scenarios) with focus on Red Bull’s sales drivers and Red Bull’s customer spend strategy.
Produce excellent conceptual selling decks and establish Red Bull as the category leader.
Execution
Carry out and manage the annual negotiation process with key customers.
Agree with customers that Red Bull will always be available in their vending machines.
Monitoring
Continuously monitor and adjust volume and profitability targets using existing sales reports.
Prepare and discuss the success of executed plans (e.g., with customers and show Red Bull's contribution to the customer's business).
Collaboration
Continuously research to better understand the needs of both customers and the team and respond with programmes (in line with brand value) that are mutually beneficial.
Develop effective partnerships so that Red Bull is considered a key supplier and a driver of profitable growth.
Strive for category leadership with key strategic retailers within the energy drink category.
Build strong networks between companies and establish a close cross-functional relationship with the commercial marketing department. Jointly develop winning strategies for the customer category and conceptual sales.
A proven track record of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in account management.
Team management skills are valued, ideally with experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or beverages.
Strategic ability: develop specific, valuable, innovative and commercially focused strategies, but also understand the “big picture”.
Commercial acumen: strong understanding of sales processes and financial systems. Strategic and innovative commercial awareness. Ideally, ability to work with BI to plan and track sales results.
Analytical skills: strong planning and negotiation skills with a deep understanding of the financial implications of sales and marketing decisions. Ability to analyse sales and customer data, draw the best conclusions and develop initiatives with maximum value for the buyer, the customer and Red Bull.
Negotiation experience: successful experience in front-line retail negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Presentation skills: Demonstrate strong presentation skills that deliver highly relevant and commercially viable strategies/processes in a clear, concise and empowering manner.
Travel: 50%
University degree
Fluency in English (verbal & written)
