Job Title: Retail Marketing Executive
Location: Bangalore
Department: Sales & Marketing / Retail Marketing
Reporting To: Retail Marketing Head
Job Summary
The Retail Marketing Executive is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities that drive footfall, improve in-store visibility, and enhance sales performance across retail outlets. This role bridges marketing strategy and on-ground execution, ensuring brand consistency and effective customer engagement at the store level.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing & Promotions
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and retail activations, BTL
- Coordinate with sales teams to align marketing initiatives with sales targets
- New store openings & grand launches, rebranding, and store refurbishments
- Planning & execution of concern stores uplift
- Catchment understanding
- Planning if exhibitions across stores & neutral locations
Campaign Execution & Analysis
- Track campaign performance and analyze sales uplift and ROI
- Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor activity
- Prepare marketing performance reports and insights
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with vendors, agencies, printers, and designers for marketing materials
- Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, VM, marketing, supply chain, and finance
- Ensure timely execution of marketing plans within approved budgets
Digital & Local Marketing Support
- Support local digital promotions, social media campaigns, and WhatsApp marketing
- Assist in loyalty programs and customer engagement initiatives
Work Experience

- Strong understanding of BTL, retail marketing and consumer behavior
- Excellent coordination and execution skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple stores and priorities
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing analytics
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in retail marketing, FMCG, or consumer brands
- Experience with multi-store retail environments preferred
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Increase in store footfall, buyers (new & repeat), ticket size and sales conversions
- Timely execution of marketing campaigns
- Campaign ROI and cost efficiency
- Budget management
