Civil Inspection Activities
Conduct inspection of civil and structural activities such as excavation, formwork, rebar placement, concrete , finishing, and backfilling.
Verify that all materials and workmanship comply with approved project specifications, standards, and ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
Review and verify civil work procedures, method statements, and checklists before execution.
Ensure that approved drawings and latest revisions are being used on site.
Witness and document all quality control tests (e.g., slump test, cube test, compaction test, etc.).
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action records.
Coordinate with construction, engineering, and QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO) and client specifications.
Participate in internal and external audits and assist in closing audit findings.
Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality requirements are met.
Support continuous improvement of quality systems and site processes.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Civil QCI in EPC or construction projects (preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors, early civil works, concrete works, road and compaction activities).
Familiar with project specifications, QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and method statements.
Knowledge of international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO).
Understanding of EPC project lifecycle.
