Job description

As Sr. Scrum Master I, you’ll support a fast-paced Salesforce modernization and digital transformation program. This role will enable high-performing, AI-driven development teams focused on delivering mission-critical capabilities through Agile methodologies, AI-assisted software development, automation, and continuous delivery practices.

The ideal candidate will serve as a servant leader and Agile coach for Salesforce product teams, helping maximize developer productivity, remove delivery obstacles, optimize team performance, and accelerate modernization outcomes. This individual will play a critical role in establishing a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while supporting rapid delivery across multiple modernization initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile Salesforce delivery teams supporting application modernization, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, and team health assessments.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Salesforce Architects, Administrators, and AI-enabled development teams to ensure effective sprint execution and delivery alignment.
  • Remove impediments, resolve blockers, and proactively address risks to maintain development velocity and continuous delivery objectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Lean delivery practices, and modern software development methodologies to improve performance and delivery outcomes.
  • Support AI-assisted development workflows by helping teams effectively integrate emerging technologies, automation tools, and productivity-enhancing capabilities into delivery processes.
  • Monitor and improve team performance using Agile metrics, including velocity, sprint predictability, cycle time, throughput, and release readiness.
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple Salesforce development teams, architects, business stakeholders, and platform support organizations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing delivery speed, improving quality, reducing technical debt, and enhancing customer value.
  • Promote effective collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment between mission priorities and delivered capabilities.
  • Support implementation of DevSecOps practices, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery approaches.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning across Agile teams.
  • Proactively identify and integrate AI-enabled solutions to improve delivery efficiency, team productivity, and overall program performance.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Active Secret clearance and
  • Must be local to the DMV area with the ability to support onsite requirements in Washington, DC.
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent) and Salesforce Administrator Certification or equivalent demonstrated Salesforce platform experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience supporting Agile software development teams, including direct experience serving as a Scrum Master and applying frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or Lean.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Salesforce development, implementation, modernization, or product delivery teams.
  • Proven ability to facilitate Agile delivery within Salesforce teams, coordinating developers, administrators, architects, business analysts, and product owners.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based application delivery and digital transformation initiatives while coordinating across multiple stakeholders, technical teams, and organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to enable high-performing teams in fast-paced environments, with experience supporting federal government clients or regulated environments.

SALARY RANGE: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
