Job Title: Locum Pharmacy Technician – Dispensary & Stock Management
Banding: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Chelsea, London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2 months initially (option to extend)
Hourly Rate: £22-27 (depending on experience and banding)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays (rota), shifts include 08:30–16:30, 09:00–17:00, 11:00–19:00
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a reliable and flexible Pharmacy Technician to join a pharmacy team in West London. This role focuses on supporting dispensary services and stock management within a busy private hospital setting. The successful candidate will be required to work across a range of shift patterns and contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the pharmacy department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support dispensary operations including dispensing and medication supply.
- Undertake stock management duties, including stock top-ups and control.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacists and wider healthcare teams.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with SOPs.
- Contribute to safe, efficient, and patient-centred pharmacy services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous pharmacy experience essential.
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns as part of a rota.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
