Job description
- Independently prepare, analyze, and further develop management reports, while coordinating forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes at group level
- Advise and support the management teams of the SWARCO companies and the Holding on financial and business-related matters as well as strategic and operational decision-making
- Conduct in-depth financial and business analyses and derive actionable recommendations to support business performance management
- Contribute to international finance, transformation, and SAP projects, including supporting SAP rollouts across international subsidiaries
- Further develop, standardize, and harmonize controlling processes, tools, reporting structures, as well as relevant policies and standards
- Serve as the central point of contact for SAP FI/CO topics, master data management, and ensuring high data and process quality within Controlling
- Identify and implement optimization and automation opportunities in reporting and controlling processes
- Collaborate closely with local finance teams, business departments, and international stakeholders across the global finance community
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience (ideally 10+ years) in Controlling or Finance, preferably within an international and production-oriented business environment
- Strong expertise in reporting, forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and business performance management
- Excellent knowledge of SAP FI/CO or comparable ERP systems, as well as advanced Excel skills
- Experience with BI and reporting tools as well as SAP-related transformation projects is an advantage
- Proven experience in the development and enhancement of controlling processes, reporting structures, management tools, or group-wide standards—ideally with exposure to manufacturing controlling
- Strong understanding of business and financial interrelationships, with the ability to present and communicate complex topics clearly to different target audiences
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, high level of initiative, and the capability to actively drive change processes while acting as a trusted business partner to management
