Position: Electrical Engineer Project: Oil & Gas EPC Pipeline Projects (Saudi Arabia) Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering and field installation activities for oil & gas EPC projects.
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment layouts.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of HV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCC panels, and motors.
  • Manage cable pulling, termination, and electrical testing activities.
  • Coordinate with instrumentation, piping, and civil teams for integrated execution.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco electrical standards (SAES-P series), IEC, and NEC codes.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning, energization, and functional testing of electrical systems.
  • Interface with Saudi Aramco inspection and commissioning teams.
  • Lead and mentor electrical supervisors, foremen, and technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in electrical construction and installation for oil & gas EPC projects.
  • Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects is a strong advantage.
  • Proficient in Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES-P), IEC 60364, IEEE.
  • Strong experience with HV/LV power systems, earthing, lighting, and cathodic protection.
  • Familiar with hazardous area classification (ATEX/IECEx) requirements.
  • Ability to read single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and electrical drawings.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic or Chinese is a plus.
  • Valid Saudi Iqama or willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
