This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys autonomy, strong client relationships, and the ability to help shape and grow a broader practice.

We are committed to providing outstanding legal services to our clients and empowering our team with the support and flexibility needed to succeed.

This posting reflects a current hiring need for our client. We use AI-assisted tools to help review resumes and identify potential candidate matches, however all hiring decisions are made by our team and the client directly.

Key responsibilities include

  • Employment Law Advisory & Workplace Support
  • Advise employer and employee clients on employment standards, human rights, workplace policies, accommodation obligations, privacy matters, discipline, terminations, and related compliance issues
  • Draft employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, restrictive covenants, workplace policies, and related employment documentation
  • Support workplace investigations, accommodation matters, disability management, and return-to-work issues

  • Estates, Probate & Wealth Planning
  • Advise clients on wills, powers of attorney, trusts, guardianship, estate planning, and related wealth transfer matters

  • Provide practical tax-conscious estate planning guidance where appropriate

  • Assess the validity and scope of client claims
  • Drafting and reviewing pleadings, correspondence, mediation briefs, affidavits of documents, motion materials and pre-trial memoranda
  • Assist case managers on Accident Benefit matters, progression and EUOs, when needed
  • Represent clients in mediations, discoveries, motions, hearings, LAT proceedings, and other court proceedings
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal recommendations
