Job description
- Plan and purchase precious metal according to precious metal target demand in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery.
- Manage and process PR per guided lead time to support production need and timely settle consumed precious target.
- Provide long-term forecasts to suppliers to ensure continuity of supply.
- Target (precious metal) shipment follows up & supplier delivery monitoring.
- Manage precious metal target turn over, track precious metal movement, monitor pool account and reconciliation activities.
- Manage and control inventory level according to management goal set.
- Manage End of Life (EOL) and inventory aging risk to minimize material exposure.
- Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
- Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.
- To comply with Legal requirements (EMS, OHSMS), Regulatory Requirements (RBA, QMS, IMS), purchasing policies and procedures.
- Support SOX/IMS/BCMS activity and audit compliance.
- Coach and train junior staff in all procurement matters.
- Participate in cost saving projects and support Commodity Manager on cost saving analysis.
- Support Commodity Manager on Supplier Performance Review activity and data compilation.
- Participate in alternative or 2nd source development.
- Support NPI purchase requisition.
- Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and mitigation action execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in electronic or manufacturing environment.
- Procurement and planning related experience.
- Knowledge of procurement, supply chain activities and MRP system (Material Requirement Planning)
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Computer literacy, proficiency in Oracle, Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Possess good analytical and logical thinking.
- Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
- Flexible and adaptable
