International Biodiversity Specialist

We are seeking an International International Senior Road Design Engineer for an upcoming AIIB-funded rural road rehabilitation program to support the Ministry of Rural Development on feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, and safeguard preparation across six provinces in Cambodia.

The Biodiversity Specialist will assess and manage biodiversity risks associated with road rehabilitation works within the project location ecosystems. The specialist will ensure compliance with IFC Performance Standard 6, AIIB ESS1, Cambodian environmental legislation, and international biodiversity conservation standards.

• Shall have a higher degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. biological or ecological sciences) with at least 5 years of experience in conducting similar assignments in line with IFC PS6.
• Project experience in Southeast Asia is essential.
• Must have good level of English language skills.
