Senior Climate Mitigation Specialist

We are seeking an International International Sr. Climate Mitigation Specialist for an upcoming AIIB-funded rural road rehabilitation program to support the Ministry of Rural Development on feasibility studies, detailed engineering design, and safeguard preparation across six provinces in Cambodia.

The Climate Mitigation Specialist will support the integration of climate mitigation, low-carbon infrastructure, resource efficiency, and climate-resilient design principles into the feasibility study, detailed engineering design, ESIA, ESMPF, and associated safeguard instruments. The specialist will ensure alignment with AIIB Environmental and Social Framework requirements, international climate commitments, and best practices for sustainable transport infrastructure.

• Must have a relevant post graduate degree in related field.
• At least seven (7+) years of professional experience in GHG calculations for similar projects.
• The consultant shall be familiar with the GHG Protocol for Project Accounting, IFI methodologies, or other internationally acceptable standards/ methodologies.
• Experience in Southeast Asia is highly preferred.
• English language skills are essential.
