Job Details

The Hospice Intake Specialist responds to inquiries regarding our Hospice program and philosophy, verifies the appropriateness of the referral via physician certification, coordinates community and facility admissions, and maintains statistics on referrals, admissions, source of referrals and quality assurance indicators.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office and Electronic Medical Records.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with patients and their families in a compassionate and empathetic manner
  • Prior experience in Healthcare preferred

Salary Range

USD $28.00 - USD $32.00 /Yr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
