Overview
The Business Operations Associate supports key operational functions for Catholic Health Home Care and Good Shepherd Hospice. This role ensures efficient, accurate execution of daily operations including interdepartmental coordination, customer service, data processing, documentation management, and revenue cycle support. The Associate is instrumental in real-time issue resolution, communication across clinical and administrative teams, and the overall improvement of workflows and service delivery.

General Responsibilities
- Fosters a team environment of exceptional customer service and collaboration, accountability, participation, cooperation, teamwork, and professional growth
- Maintains productivity to achieve metrics, per department protocols, as assigned
- Support smooth daily operations across departments and partner affiliates
- Respond to real-time issues and service escalations; triage phone calls, messages, and grievances appropriately
- Perform accurate data entry, documentation processing, and quality reviews within EMRs and business systems
- Track, follow up, and escalate documentation deficiencies (e.g., missing physician orders or clinical notes)
- Coordinate with clinicians, physicians, vendors, and CH affiliates to support care delivery and compliance
- Support revenue cycle operations, including documentation reconciliation and invoice processing
- Maintain medical supply and durable medical equipment (DME) workflows, including inventory and vendor relations
- Assist with reporting and data analytics; contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Serve as a central point of contact for clinical teams, referral sources, and patient/family inquiries
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance in all patient and operational data handling
- Foster a culture of service, accountability, and teamwork
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
- Prior experience in operations, healthcare, or customer service preferred
- Experience with EMRs, data analysis, or revenue-cycle workflows a plus
Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communicator with professional verbal and written skills
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and perform moderate physical activity when needed
Salary Range
USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
