Overview
St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS reporting, employee engagement, and compliance. This role serves as a key resource for employees and leadership, helping to foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring adherence to employment laws, healthcare regulations, and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Support employee and manager relations, performance management, and leave of absence administration.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and special HR projects.
- Assist with benefits administration, including Open Enrollment.
- Maintain employee records, HRIS data integrity, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct license verifications, I-9 processing, and exit interviews.
- Partner with Employee Health Services and other departments on HR-related initiatives.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Knowledge of employee relations, employment law, recruitment, benefits, and HR compliance.
- Experience with HRIS/HRMS systems; UKG/Kronos preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary Range
USD $65,000.00 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
