As a Learning and Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent within our organization. You will focus on identifying and developing talent to align with the Firm's strategy, enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and experience. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business growth efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. You will cultivate potential in others and actively collaborate across the PwC Network, leveraging our collective strength.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. You will work with stakeholders to address skills gaps within the Firm's current and future workforce, promoting technological advances and creating an environment where people and technology thrive together. Your leadership will be crucial in driving thought leadership and developing new ideas, solutions, and structures that convert opportunities into success for the Firm. Within our Internal Firm Services practice, you will balance long-term and short-term thinking to drive change and address system-level enablers.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing long-term strategies to align human capital with business objectives
- Analyzing workforce trends and applying HR strategies to improve employee experience
- Identifying and addressing skills gaps within the current and future workforce
- Collaborating with stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Designing and managing curriculum development and learner journey design initiatives
- Utilizing adult learning theories and instructional design to enhance learning programs
- Managing learning platforms and systems to optimize educational delivery
- Leading strategic workforce planning and talent development initiatives
- Building relationships with business leaders to support organizational development
- Promoting innovation and systemic thinking in talent and development strategies
- Overseeing project management and vendor management to validate successful program execution
- Engaging in stakeholder management to drive strategic goals and objectives
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree Graduate
- At least 12 years of experience in Human Resources preferably in a professional services firm
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- At least one of the following: Human Resources certification (e.g. SHRM, PHR)
- Demonstrating proficiency in Adult Learning Theories and Instructional Design
- Excelling in Curriculum Development and Learner Journey Design
- Utilizing Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Platform Management
- Managing complex projects with a strategic mindset and systemic thinking
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and engagement
- Innovating in content strategy and executive education initiatives
