Job description

Our client, an international industrial group, is looking for an IT Support (Level 1 & 2) to strengthen their local IT team.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of IT systems and supporting end users in a dynamic production and office environment.

As part of the IT team, you will be involved in both user support (Level 1) and infrastructure/system administration (Level 2):

User Support (L1)

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues (hardware, software, network)
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents, ensuring fast and efficient support
  • Install, configure and maintain workstations, laptops, and peripherals
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Log and track incidents through the ticketing system

System & Infrastructure (L2)

  • Maintain and monitor servers, networks, and IT systems to ensure performance and availability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Participate in system updates, patches, and upgrades
  • Support backup processes, security measures, and data protection strategies
  • Contribute to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

  • Degree in IT or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in a similar L1/L2 support or system administration role
  • Good knowledge of:
  • Windows environment (client & server)
  • Microsoft 365 / Active Directory
  • Networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN)
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
  • Fluent in English (French/Dutch is an asset)
