Job description
Our client, an international industrial group, is looking for an IT Support (Level 1 & 2) to strengthen their local IT team.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of IT systems and supporting end users in a dynamic production and office environment.
As part of the IT team, you will be involved in both user support (Level 1) and infrastructure/system administration (Level 2):
User Support (L1)
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues (hardware, software, network)
- Diagnose and resolve incidents, ensuring fast and efficient support
- Install, configure and maintain workstations, laptops, and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions and onboarding/offboarding processes
- Log and track incidents through the ticketing system
System & Infrastructure (L2)
- Maintain and monitor servers, networks, and IT systems to ensure performance and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Participate in system updates, patches, and upgrades
- Support backup processes, security measures, and data protection strategies
- Contribute to IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Profile
- Degree in IT or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a similar L1/L2 support or system administration role
- Good knowledge of:
- Windows environment (client & server)
- Microsoft 365 / Active Directory
- Networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN)
- Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach
- Fluent in English (French/Dutch is an asset)
