Job description

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is looking for a French-speaking IT Business Analyst (m/f) to join our teams in Luxembourg and contribute to projects within the Luxembourgish public sector.

In this role, you will act as the link between business stakeholders and development teams, helping translate business needs into functional solutions. You will work in a collaborative Agile environment and contribute to the successful delivery of digital services and business applications.

THE WORK:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications for development teams.
  • Model business processes using BPMN and contribute to the design of functional workflows.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support the definition and validation of REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, testers, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in testing activities, including test case preparation and validation of delivered functionalities.
  • Act as a point of contact for functional questions and support users during project implementation phases.

The work location for this role is an ARHS Group – Part of Accenture office.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Around 3 to 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with business process modelling (BPMN).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Swagger, JSON, or related integration concepts.
  • Experience preparing and executing functional testing activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluency in French and a good command of English.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience working on public sector or eGovernment projects.
  • Knowledge of XML/XSD, JSON Schema, or data modelling concepts.
  • Experience creating UI mockups or functional prototypes.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
