Job Summary We are seeking a skilled OTX (Open Text Extream) with Mainframe Batch Consultant with extensive experience in Mainframe applications to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IMS and batch processing within a mainframe environment, and will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to meet our clients' needs.

Must have experience in OTX (Open text Extream Experience is mandatory ) with Mainframe knwodlge

Responsibilities

Analyze client requirements and design effective mainframe batch solutions.

Develop, test, and implement mainframe applications using IMS.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing mainframe applications.

Document processes, technical specifications, and user manuals.

Participate in client meetings to present findings and recommendations.

Mandatory Skills

OTX (Open Text Extream)

Proven experience in Mainframe applications, specifically with IMS.

Strong knowledge of batch processing and job scheduling.

Expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting in a mainframe environment.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with modern mainframe tools and technologies.

Experience in Agile methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7-10 years of relevant experience in mainframe application development and consultancy.
