Job description

Goal and purpose of position

The job holder is responsible for the P&L for TM Industry country designate, striving to deliver strategic growth. To lead the TM Industry team (country designate) ensuring delivery of the budgeted metrics including Net sales, Material margin and EBITDA.  To develop and grow talent in line with Sika approach.  To coordinate with the TM Industry Regional leadership to maximise profitability and growth region wide

Main tasks / Standard of performance (across companies, divisions, units)

  • Professional interaction with Industry team, Region and Corporate support functions.  Sika country management and supporting functions.
  • External interactions with Sika Industry Customers, trade bodies and associations. All potential service providers that assist in the overall business mission.
  • Lead sales, technical and marketing teams to meet the mission and objectives.
  • Lead in direction and development of strategy of the business.
  • Development of team members for future succession and roles within Sika.
  • Coordinate marketing and product for the team working with the Marketing/Product Manager.
  • Collaboration with other target markets for enhanced sales opportunity for Sika - all TM's.
  • Reporting of business and market performance to the Regional , full use and promotion of salesforce.com CRM system.
  • Driven to be solutions-focused.
  • Can drive performance and increase the level of expectation.
  • Willing to teach and develop.
  • Understands motivation and is self-starter.
  • Leadership Skills.
  • Can communicate appropriately at multiple levels.
  • Can develop a strategic plan.
  • Submission of offers, contract negotiations and conclusion of supply and development contracts in accordance with valid Sika's internal processes.
  • Disciplinary authority to issue instructions to his/her team members.

Education:

University degree, technical university, university of applied sciences or comparable education

Vocational Experience & Skills:

  • Good technical and/or market specific expertise. Understanding of the specified markets.
  • Proven ability to manage teams for success and able to attract, retain and develop future talent.
  • Experience with chemical solutions such as Adhesives and Sealants.
  • Proven new business and project development history.

Additional Skills:

  • Driving license: (passenger car),
  • Good command of written and spoken Native & English,
  • Good knowledge of common software,
  • Awareness of financial data and how to interpret it.

Personal Skills:

  • Extensive willingness to travel,
  • Ability to work in a team, communicative and open in collaboration with customers and colleagues. A team player with the ability to also work individually.
