Job description
As a CMDB specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and evolution of the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve the CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
- Monitor and ensure the performance and health of the ServiceNow instance
- Review and optimize configurations (CIs, attributes, workflows, groups)
- Prepare the CMDB to support efficient ITSM processes
- Automate processes and propose continuous improvements
- Manage access (roles, users, and permissions)
- Implement updates and manage deployments across environments
- Create reports, notifications, and data import templates
- Resolve technical incidents and provide daily support
- Produce technical documentation and train users
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with ServiceNow (senior/expert level)
- Strong knowledge of CMDB (configuration and administration)
- Hands-on experience with development and deployment in ServiceNow
- Good knowledge of:
- JavaScript, HTML, XML
- APIs (REST / SOAP)
- Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Knowledge of ITSM (preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills and team spirit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- English level B2–C1
Nice to Have:
- ServiceNow CSA certification
- CMDB Fundamentals
- Knowledge of ITOM / Infrastructure
- CIS Discovery or Service Mapping
- ITIL Foundation
