PASTRY COOK I - Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa (Hotel) the pastry department is a high profile area in that it is the last part of a meal that a guest will have, this can leave the guest with a positive or negative lasting impression of the hotel. At times, the workload can be tremendous and the qualified pastry cook must be prepared for this.
What you will be doing: Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare tasteful and appealing desserts for the restaurant, banquets and on occasion the inn place. Maintain pars on necessary items, work with purchasing department to that end. Have the ability produce “last minute cakes” for guests’ birthdays, etc

- 3 Years prior pastry experience
- Must be innovative, detail oriented and quality conscious
- Must be aware of new trends in presentation and preparation
- Available to work weekends and Holidays
- Culinary degree preferred
Hourly Rate of $29.00
