The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital’s expertise and commitment to treating patients with chest pain by awarding Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation—its highest level of accreditation.

In addition, the hospital provides world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor & delivery, and a wide range of other services.

Leesburg Hospital is seeking a Director of Perioperative services, they will coordinate and evaluate the quality of nursing/patient care, financial stability, and service productivity. The Nursing Director is responsible for the professional development and morale of the service teams and has a close working relationship with the general management team and the medical staff to effectively meet system goals, organizational goals and all pillars relating to the departments he/she oversees.

Qualifications

Education

  • Master's degree required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • ACLS, BLS, and CNOR certifications preferred.
  • Specialty certification(s) required within one year of assuming the position, as applicable.

Special Skills/Qualifications

  • Maintains and exceeds all specialty-specific educational requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience as a Director of Surgical Services.

Education

  • Master's degree required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration
