Creates and manages content for websites, social media, and digital or print publications. Oversees daily social media activity, including posting, performance tracking, and analytics reporting. Supports brand awareness and organizational initiatives through digital strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams while maintaining content calendars, scheduling posts, and coordinating campaign logistics.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, create, and manage content for social media platforms, websites, digital communications, and print publications, including articles, posts, graphics, and multimedia assets.
  • Oversee daily social media operations, including content publishing, audience engagement, monitoring comments and messages, responding to inquiries, and tracking emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute communication strategies that support organizational initiatives and business objectives.
  • Create and maintain content calendars to ensure timely, strategic, and consistent communication across all platforms.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of digital campaigns, employee engagement initiatives, recruitment marketing efforts, and brand awareness activities.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to organizational brand standards, messaging guidelines, privacy requirements, and applicable policies.
  • Monitor social media channels and digital platforms for audience feedback, engagement opportunities, and reputation management.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, including audience growth, engagement, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations and insights to improve content performance, audience engagement, communication strategies, and brand visibility.
  • Coordinate campaign logistics, approvals, and content workflows to support efficient execution of communication initiatives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, social media best practices, digital marketing innovations, and emerging communication technologies.
  • Support website content updates and digital communication projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, English, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience supporting social media activities, digital communications, marketing, public relations, or related communications functions.
  • Experience creating, editing, and managing content for social media platforms, websites, and digital communications.
  • Proficiency with major social media platforms, including content publishing, audience engagement, and platform management.
  • Experience utilizing social media analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance and measure engagement.
  • Experience managing content calendars, scheduling posts, and coordinating communication campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging and audience-focused content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in healthcare, higher education, nonprofit, government, or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms, content management systems (CMS), and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience supporting employer branding, recruitment marketing, employee communications, or organizational communications initiatives.
  • Knowledge of brand management, digital communications best practices, and social media trends.
