Design Assistant

The Design Assistant supports the Sr. All-round Designer in the creation and development of the Main Trend & Core and Resort/Holidays collections. They are responsible for executing design tasks and ensuring that all work aligns with the direction and vision set by the Sr. All-round Designer. The role focuses on translating concepts into clear, trend-right and commercially relevant designs that reflect the DP DNA, the brand identity, and customer needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Personal Development

•

Supports the Sr. All-round Designer in designing and delivering assigned collections.

•

Conducts seasonal research and trend analysis to bring innovation to each collection.

•

Presents design work internally and contributes to team discussions.

•

Shows a hands-on, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the design team.

•

Demonstrates high commitment and an open-minded approach.

Design & Research

•

Assists in concept and trend research in collaboration with the Art Direction team.

•

Prepares trend and material overviews for Menswear, including fabrics, colors, trims, and details.

•

Supports in developing innovative and commercial Trend/Core collections under guidance of the Head of Design and Designers.

•

Helps create new silhouettes aligned with the brand vision and design strategy.

•

Contributes to innovation in materials and techniques within production possibilities.

Collection Development

•

Assists in creating and updating tech packs within set deadlines.

•

Checks all files for accuracy before submission.

•

Attends fittings when required and records comments for improvements.

•

Updates tech packs according to fitting feedback and ensures all files are complete before final review.
