Logistics is your internal customer, and you ensure an optimal scheduling of production orders within our factory. In short: a dynamic role in which you are operationally responsible while also providing direction to the team. In this position, as a Production Planner, you and your direct colleagues are operationally responsible for creating the production schedule, supporting the various customer teams that each manage their own customer group. Your day starts with a morning meeting on the production floor, followed by discussions with the production team leaders and unit managers. From there, you review the priorities for the day and begin building the schedule. You will frequently coordinate with the Customer Support Planners, who represent the customer internally. They know what the customer needs, and you translate that into a solid production plan. In addition to your operational tasks, you will also participate in improvement teams to continuously optimize our processes.
