Job description
Accountabilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments to support system and process improvements.
- Perform data analysis using SQL to extract insights, validate requirements, and support reporting and decision-making needs.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate functional requirements into actionable system specifications.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement and support the design of more efficient workflows.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support project delivery using tools such as JIRA.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
- Support testing, validation, and implementation of system enhancements and process changes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Proven experience in business process improvement and workflow optimization methodologies.
- Excellent documentation skills, including writing clear and structured business and technical requirements.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Nice to have: experience with ERP systems, financial systems, or data visualization tools.
