Job description
The Learning Partner within Montu’s Organisational Development and Safety (OD&S) team plays a critical role in
enabling high-impact learning experiences across the business. This role combines strong coordination, operational excellence, and learner support to ensure the smooth delivery of Montu’s learning programs, from onboarding to ongoing development. The Learning Partner provides hands-on support across training logistics, learner communications, reporting, and onboarding planning, while also contributing to the design and continuous
improvement of learning experiences. With a strong stakeholder focus and collaborative mindset, the Learning Partner ensures every learning interaction is engaging, accessible, and aligned to Montu’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding Planning and Coordination
- Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding journey for new hires across departments.
- Plan, schedule, and manage onboarding learning pathways and sessions.
- Ensure timely delivery of mandatory learning modules, compliance training, and orientation content.
- Team-Specific Onboarding Requirements
- Partner with department subject matter experts to customise onboarding experiences that reflect the unique needs of each team.
- Maintain and update tailored onboarding checklists and role-specific training materials.
- Monitor and report on onboarding completion rates and time-to-productivity metrics.
- Learner Group Coordination:
- Manage and maintain learner groups within Montu’s Learning Management System (LMS), including user enrollments, team assignments, and access permissions.
- Communicate with learners to provide instructions, support, and guidance on training schedules, access, and resources.
- Administrative Support
- Schedule and coordinate learning sessions, workshops, and course launches.
- Maintain accurate records and manage learning materials, ensuring accessibility and version control.
- Handle logistics for virtual or in-person learning events (e.g., calendar invites, reminders, materials distribution).
- Act as the first point of contact for onboarding-related admin queries, where applicable.
- Team Member Support
- Provide first-line support for learner enquiries and technical issues.
- Troubleshoot learner access or course issues promptly and professionally.
- Support the L&D team in responding to feedback and learner engagement requests.
- Learning Design Contributions:
- Collaborate with the L&D Team to assist in the development of training materials, presentations, and documentation.
- Contribute to the creation of job aids, reference guides, and e-learning content as needed.
- Reporting and Data Management:
- Track learner progress, course completion, and attendance via the LMS.
- Produce reports and dashboards for stakeholders, highlighting trends or compliance gaps.
- Use data insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Mandatory:
- Relevant qualification or training in education, communication, business, clinical, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in administrative support, training coordination, or learning-related roles
- Highly desirable:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite and Learning Management Systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Stakeholder-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
