Position Overview and Objective
 

We are looking for a Software Engineer to build and enhance MCP tools, microservices, and  analytics services that enable applications to securely access, query, and analyze enterprise data. You will work with enterprise datasets, analytics platforms, and AI-powered applications to  develop reliable and scalable data solutions. Engineers on this team are expected to own services throughout their lifecycle, including development, production support, reliability improvements, and ongoing enhancements
 

Responsibilities
 

As a Software Developer at ARCTIC WOLF, you will:
 

  • Develop and maintain microservices, MCP tools, and analytics services
  • Work with datasets, schemas, and business context to implement analytics solutions
  • Develop data retrieval, enrichment, and analysis workflows
  • Build integrations with Databricks, OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, and other enterprise platforms
  • Optimize SQL queries and data access patterns
  • Maintain and enhance existing production services and platform components
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes
  • Improve service reliability, observability, performance, and operational efficiency
  • Support dependency upgrades, technical debt reduction, and platform modernization efforts
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable solutions
     

Experience and Requirements
 

We’re looking for someone with experience in:
 

  • 2–3 years of software development experience
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience working with datasets and analytics platforms
  • Experience building backend services, microservices, or platform integrations
  • Experience supporting and maintaining production services in a cloud-native 
  • environment
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
  • Familiarity with MCP, AI-powered applications, or natural language interfaces
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skill

• Experience with Databricks, OpenSearch, Spark, Snowflake, or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with LLMs, tool calling, retrieval systems, or conversational analytics
