The Associate Director, Europe Distribution will assist in the development and execution of Corcept’s distribution strategy and capabilities across Europe and serve as the operational lead for European distribution. This role will report to the Europe General Manager (or, if a GM is not in place, the President of Oncology).
This role is initially focused on the DACH region, with responsibilities expanding to additional European markets in line with Corcept’s commercial launch plans. The Associate Director will support the implementation of scalable distribution networks, ensure product availability, and drive operational execution across a complex, multi‑country environment.
This position requires strong cross‑functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Market Access, Commercial, Finance, and external partners to ensure efficient and compliant product flow from manufacturing to end customers.
Responsibilities
Distribution Strategy & Market Oversight
- Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance to support execution of the European distribution strategy and ongoing market expansion
- Oversee distribution operations across Europe (initially DACH), ensuring effective 3PL coordination, timely order processing, and on-time delivery
- Manage key operational processes including allocation and quota monitoring, shortage risk, order‑to‑cash activities, and returns/credit‑debit handling
- Track and report distribution performance (service levels, lead times, quality), identifying opportunities to standardize and optimize processes across markets
- Participate in SLA development and performance reviews with logistics partners, ensuring service, cost, and quality expectations are met
- Ensure compliance with GDP and country‑specific requirements, including timely partner/customer revalidation and audit readiness
Network Design & Execution
- Manage end‑to‑end European distribution networks, including warehousing, logistics providers, and specialty distributors.
- Define and implement inventory positioning strategies in alignment with demand and market access requirements.
- Partner closely with global supply chain to ensure alignment on supply availability and distribution execution.
Operational Excellence & Governance
- Ensure compliance with country‑specific regulatory, quality, and GDP requirements.
- Implement controls to ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and audit readiness across all distribution activities.
- Drive continuous improvement of distribution performance, cost efficiency, and service levels.
Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Market Access, Commercial, Finance, Legal/Compliance, and external vendors.
- Implement cross-functional communication to maintain visibility to inventory strategies and the impact of distribution strategy on demand
- Align distribution strategy with pricing, reimbursement, and market access requirements country‑by‑country.
- Support coordination across internal and external stakeholders to enable seamless market entry and ongoing operations.
- Support executive reviews, launch readiness reviews, and regional governance forums.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Help to identify, onboard, and manage third‑party logistics providers (3PLs), distribution partners, and specialty providers.
- Establish performance expectations and monitor partner performance against service, cost, and compliance metrics.
- Drive accountability and continuous improvement across vendor partnerships.
Operational Discipline & Financial Stewardship
- Partner with Finance on distribution budgets, account receivables, cost management, and contract oversight.
- Monitor distribution costs, logistics spend, and network efficiency across markets.
- Ensure disciplined execution of contracts, invoices, and vendor management processes.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in European pharmaceutical distribution, supply chain, or operations
- Experience building or scaling distribution networks across multiple European countries
- Strong understanding of European regulatory, GDP, and distribution requirements
- Experience working with 3PLs, specialty distributors, and cross‑border logistics
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally to support product launches and market builds
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Travel
- Availability for travel within Europe to support market builds, partner management, and launch execution
- Availability for occasional travel to the US for business meetings
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position is €110,000 - €125,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on legitimate considerations, including geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
