Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist to perform comprehensive validation across Android, iOS, Web applications, and Android OEM/OS builds. This senior role balances rigorous manual validation with functional automation knowledge, digital accessibility compliance, and deep Android system-level testing to ensure stable, seamless releases.

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Multi-Platform Testing: Design and execute functional, regression, new feature, and exploratory tests across Android, iOS and Web platforms.

Android OEM & System Testing: Validate Android OS builds, system-level apps (Settings, Camera, Telephony), GMS certification compliance, OTA updates, and device provisioning configurations.

Accessibility Testing: Perform digital accessibility verification on web and mobile platforms using assistive tools (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver); document violations with explicit reproduction steps and severity.

Automation Knowledge: Identify test candidates for regression automation and utilize testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium) to scale coverage and streamline delivery cycles.

Technical Debugging: Diagnose software anomalies using ADB commands, Fastboot, Android Studio, and Logcat logs. Isolate, track, and manage issues within JIRA or Bugzilla.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of software testing experience spanning Web, iOS, and Android platforms.

Android OS Expertise: Practical technical knowledge of Android architecture, including hands-on proficiency with ADB, Fastboot, and system log extraction.

Automation Knowledge: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of automation tooling (such as Appium or Selenium) with the ability to write or maintain test scripts.

Core Competencies: Meticulous bug logging, robust familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), device fragmentation, and working within Agile development cycles.
