The Electromechanical Technician B is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, ensuring optimal operation and minimizing downtime of production machinery through timely identification and resolution of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.

This position reports to the Production Maintenance function and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations team located in Tijuana, Mexico, and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Perform preventive maintenance programs on machinery and industrial equipment to ensure operational continuity
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues during equipment installation and repair
  • Support installation and commissioning of diverse manufacturing equipment and instruments
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and execute corrective maintenance actions in a timely manner
  • Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards within the manufacturing environment •

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Electro-mechanical technical degree or equivalent technical certification
  • 3 years of experience in machinery maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components in industrial equipment

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery and production equipment
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required to perform maintenance activities

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience supporting medical device manufacturing operations
