Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage the preparation, review, and submission of all regulatory reports to the Bank of Thailand (BOT) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Interpret and analyze new and revised regulatory requirements, assessing their impact on the bank's reporting processes and systems.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of regulatory data.
Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, Risk Management, IT, and Business Units, to gather necessary data and ensure alignment in reporting.
Act as a key point of contact for regulatory auditors and internal audit teams, providing timely and accurate information and explanations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory reporting functions.
Provide training and guidance to team members on regulatory reporting requirements and best practices.
Prepare management reports and presentations on regulatory compliance status and key reporting metrics.
Participate in projects related to regulatory changes, system enhancements, and new product launches to ensure regulatory compliance is embedded from the outset.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA are a plus.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to Thai banking regulations.
Strong understanding of Bank of Thailand (BOT) regulations, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in using financial reporting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Good command in Thai and English (written and spoken).
