Accounting Analyst - Chile

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting of stock market transactions, including the purchase and sale of stocks, ETFs, and other securities.
• Support the preparation of regulatory reports required by the CMF.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Monitor and reconcile bank transfers to support efficient cash and account administration.
• Record and analyze financial instruments under IFRS 9, including stocks, CFDs, derivatives, and client positions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including the Statement of Financial Position, Statement of Cash Flows, and Statement of Changes in Equity.
• Maintain and improve internal control procedures within the accounting area.
• Work closely with Operations, Compliance, and Accounts Payable teams to validate accounting information.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual financial statement audit process.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of verifiable experience preparing or reviewing financial statements under international accounting standards.
• Previous experience in a brokerage firm, securities agency, asset management company, investment bank, or another CMF-regulated entity.
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, monthly closings, and financial reporting.
• Intermediate English level, both spoken and written.
