Business Analyst (Banking Domain)

⌛ Project Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

💼 Contract type: B2B

💸 Rate: 150–170 PLN/hour

🏢 Work Mode: hybrid with on-site presence required approximately 6 times per month (Kraków or Warsaw)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a large, globally operating financial institution. The role involves working within complex banking environments, focusing on credit risk and portfolio management reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytical and functional solutions supporting strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for both short-term and long-term initiatives
• Support the development and enhancement of Management Information (MI) reporting within Credit Risk or Portfolio Management domains
• Work closely with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and agree on business outcomes and actionable deliverables
• Facilitate communication between business, technology, and offshore teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to DevOps best practices
• Identify and analyze business problems or opportunities and propose effective solutions
• Ensure high-quality documentation and traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in business analysis within the banking/financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of MI reporting , ideally in Credit Risk or Portfolio Management
• Proven experience in requirements gathering and analysis across complex systems
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• Hands-on experience collaborating with offshore development, testing, and analysis teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Professional proficiency in English (minimum B2+)
