SOBRE EL TRABAJO We are seeking a Data & Analytics Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of Supporting Functions (Finance, Legal, Human Resources, and Danone Business Services - DBS) data products across the Americas region. Working closely with global teams, regional stakeholders, and local IT business partners, this role will define and deliver cross-functional analytics capabilities that drive business performance and support data-driven decision making. The Product Owner will lead a team of Product Analysts and a cross-functional delivery squad of technical specialists using Agile Scrum way of working. This role is based in Mexico City, Mexico or Sao Paulo, Brazil. SOBRE TI Position Purpose The Data and Analytics Product Owner will play a leading role in the organization’s digital transformation by driving modern data platform capabilities and advanced analytics solutions. Key objectives include: Own and execute the product vision for Data and Analytics Supporting Functions across the Americas Enable business teams to leverage data, insights, and analytics as strategic assets Drive scalable data products and AI-enabled solutions that generate measurable business value Partner with business, regional, and global teams to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities Lead Agile product delivery to maximize adoption, value realization, and business outcomes Context Data and Analytics Supporting Functions This role operates within the Americas Data and Analytics Supporting Functions squad and focuses on: Data Management and Governance Data Analytics and Reporting Master Data Management Self Service Business Intelligence Advanced Analytics and AI capabilities The team leverages modern technologies including: Azure Databricks Snowflake Power BI The organization delivers scalable and governed data products aligned with global standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy and Agile Delivery Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog Prioritize initiatives based on business value and strategic objectives Lead Agile Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective product delivery Drive measurable business outcomes through delivery squad performance Data and Analytics Solution Design Identify and assess opportunities for analytics and data products Translate business needs into scalable data and analytics solutions Enable the development and adoption of trusted, enterprise-wide data assets and reporting solutions Drive innovation through automation, machine learning, and AI-enabled capabilities Business Partnership and Stakeholder Management Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, use cases, and success metrics Act as the primary bridge between business and technical teams Drive adoption of data-driven decision making across the organization Data Governance and Platform Management Define and promote data governance standards and best practices Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance Support the development of data models and lifecycle management processes Performance Management and Value Realization Track and measure product success through KPIs including: User adoption Customer satisfaction Delivery velocity Data quality Business impact People Leadership Coach and develop Product Analysts Lead and influence cross-functional teams and external partners Continuous Improvement Partner with Product Owners, technical leads, and business teams to continuously enhance data maturity and capabilities Experience & Skills 8+ years of demonstrated experience delivering Data & Analytics products. Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar data product leadership role. Strong understanding of Agile Scrum. Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira. Strong ability to define requirements and write effective user stories. CPG/FMCG experience preferred. Technical & Functional Skills Experience as a Product Owner or similar role with Data & Analytics Strong understanding of Agile Scrum way of working. Experience with backlog management tools (e.g. Jira). Ability to clearly write and articulate functional requirements and user stories. Business & Domain Knowledge Strong understanding of Supporting Functions domains, including: Financial Planning & Analysis Financial Reporting and Close processes Business process withing DBS, including Invoice to Cash, Record to Report, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Master Data Management, and Employee Services Human Resources Management Legal Understanding of planning cycles, key planning KPIs, and cross-functional business impacts. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable solutions. Technical Knowledge Extensive experience with: Azure Databricks Snowflake Power BI Data governance frameworks and best practices Leadership Competencies Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to influence in a matrixed and multicultural environment Strong ownership and accountability mindset Structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach Passion for continuous improvement and innovation Language Requirements English and Spanish fluency is mandatory (role supports US, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico).
