We are looking for an Strategic Alliance Manager to drive the performance and evolution of GSK’s commercial alliance model, ensuring our partnerships deliver sustainable growth, strong governance, and measurable portfolio value.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading strategic alliances as a key route to market, with accountability for business delivery, partnership performance, and cross-functional execution across an estimated annual business scope of approximately GBP 200M.
Key Responsibilities
•
Lead the alliance business agenda, ensuring clear ownership of strategy, governance, execution, and performance management.
•
Drive business delivery across revenue performance, demand planning, forecasting, investment choices, and risk mitigation.
•
Identify and activate portfolio growth opportunities, including market expansion, lifecycle opportunities, pricing considerations, and performance improvement initiatives.
•
Act as a key point of accountability between GSK and partner organizations, aligning priorities, decisions, and trade-offs with senior stakeholders.
•
Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Supply, Regulatory, and Compliance teams.
•
Ensure alliance governance is robust, compliant, transparent, and able to support agile business execution.
•
Use data, insights, and performance analytics to identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and improve outcomes.
•
Build a partnership culture based on trust, transparency, shared ambition, and accountability.

Basic Qualifications

Relevant experience in commercial leadership, alliance management is required, business development, portfolio management, or strategic account leadership.
•
Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with forecasting, performance tracking, investment prioritization, and business planning.
•
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
•
Experience managing external partners, distributors, alliances, or complex commercial relationships.
•
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience in the pharmaceutical, vaccines, consumer healthcare, or highly regulated healthcare environment.
•
Experience working across commercial, market access, medical, supply, finance, regulatory, and compliance interfaces.
•
Track record of delivering results through complex partnerships, matrix teams, and senior stakeholder engagement.
•
Ability to balance strategic ambition with operational discipline, governance requirements, and partner dynamics.
