Job description
The role As we expand into new services and segments, we're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, you'll connect go-to-market strategy across our B2B and B2C channels, with a strong focus on our employer and partner business. You'll own the market, competitor and customer intelligence that informs how we position what we do—and lead commercialization for some of the most exciting product expansions on our roadmap.
This is a high-strategy, high-research role for someone who loves shaping what a service could be. You'll pressure-test the competitive landscape, define the category we want to lead and build the customer advocacy that helps us expand share. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Sales, Client Success and the broader Marketing team to sharpen our value proposition and unlock the highest-impact opportunities to scale. The work you ship will reach real people when they need care most.
Your responsibilities As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will:
•
Define positioning, messaging and value propositions across our core offerings, and lead go-to-market strategy for new products and services.
•
Own market, competitor and customer intelligence—turning internal and external signals into clear strategic recommendations that shape product and go-to-market decisions.
•
Shape category design and customer advocacy that lifts how Maple shows up in market and helps us expand share.
•
Inform how we package and price what we offer, grounded in data and customer insight.
•
Partner with Product and Growth to improve conversion across key journeys and identify high-impact opportunities to test and scale.
•
Prioritize where to play and where to win—focusing energy on the opportunities that move the business most.
What success looks like In your first 90 days, you'll get fluent in our customers, our product and the markets we're playing in. You'll build strong relationships across Product, Marketing and our Commercial team, sharpen positioning and messaging for our priority services, and bring a clear point of view on the biggest opportunities ahead—backed by data and a recommended path forward.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll lead go-to-market for major launches, evolve how we package and price to better reflect customer value, and put the product marketing foundations in place that help Maple scale—messaging frameworks, personas and competitive positioning the whole company can rally behind. You'll drive measurable lift in adoption and revenue, and become a trusted strategic partner on growth and market strategy. By the end of this stretch, you'll have shaped a cohesive product marketing approach across our business and helped raise the bar for how we bring products to market.
What you bring •
5–7 years of marketing experience, with meaningful time in a product marketing role.
•
Strong B2B product marketing experience, with the judgment to navigate a business that also serves consumers and the public sector.
•
A track record of measurable business impact. You can point to outcomes you drove—deals won, share gained, launches that moved the number.
•
Deep strength in strategy and research: positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, category design and customer advocacy.
•
The ability to connect strategy to execution—you can move between a positioning framework and a conversion test without missing a beat.
•
A data-driven mindset and curiosity that pulls you toward the why behind the numbers.
•
Sharp communication skills—you turn insight into action others can rally behind, and you build the cross-functional relationships that make great work possible.
•
The instincts of a quick study—you can become a credible expert in a new space fast.
Play to your strengths. Finding the right fit goes both ways—so this section is yours to complete. When you join, you'll add the unique strengths you bring that aren't captured above.
