Job description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Tool Crib Supervisor is responsible for the management and oversight of the tool and materials storage area, ensuring their efficient distribution and control. This role requires leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in warehouse management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Lean tools
  • Understanding of inventory and control systems
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience using SAP or equivalent systems

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the inventory of tools and non-productive materials: Control inbound and outbound movements, ensuring that tools, spare parts, and consumables for production and maintenance are available
  • Supervise the tool crib team: Coordinate warehouse staff and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Monitor cycle counts for tools and spare parts
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for key tool crib performance indicators
  • Manage and implement projects
  • Perform ABC classification of spare parts •
