Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

Enterprise Services (ES) was established in 2022 to provide efficient, resilient, and scalable services to support the evolving needs and complexities of a more digital BCG. ES brings together business-critical operations - such as Procurement & Payables, Global Finance Operations, and Executive Support Services - alongside specialist expertise including Real Estate, Travel, and Meetings & Events. United by a common service mindset, ES enables every BCGer to focus on the work that matters most by giving time and energy back through streamlined, reliable service delivery. In doing so, ES creates cost advantage and strengthens BCG’s market differentiation, while reducing risk through consistent controls and business continuity. Through scalable platforms and globally integrated ways of working across our strategic core global hubs, Enterprise Services enhances agility and helps unlock the potential of those who advance the world.

Enterprise Procurement & Payables (EP&P) helps maximize value from BCG’s supplier relationships and ensures our internal customers have the goods and services they need to succeed. As part of Enterprise Services, EP&P is responsible for driving strategic sourcing, supplier governance, and procurement transformation across the firm.

As a Global Procurement Sourcing Manager within EP&P, you will own defined category areas and lead end-to-end sourcing activities, bringing structure, commercial rigor, and data-driven insight to procurement decisions. You will independently identify opportunities, develop category strategies, and execute sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable value.

You will partner across a broad set of stakeholders and categories, including consulting, financial services, insurance, legal services, outsourced transactional services, card programs, meetings & events, and contract labor. You will work closely with global and regional stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business needs, while strengthening supplier performance, managing risk, and improving transparency across the category. Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and execute sourcing strategies across assigned categories, delivering cost savings, value, and risk mitigation
  • Supporting sourcing and governance activities related to contingent workforce and statement-of-work (SOW) engagements, including contributing to VMS-enabled processes and controls
  • Leading end-to-end sourcing initiatives, including RFx design, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting
  • Building and managing stakeholder relationships, influencing sourcing decisions and aligning priorities across teams
  • Monitoring category spend, supplier performance, and market trends to identify opportunities
  • Mitigating supplier-related risks and support vendor governance activities
  • Contributing to procurement processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives within EP&P

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Applying strong technical and functional expertise across sourcing, contracting, and supplier management
  • Approaching complex problems in a structured way, using data and analysis to identify opportunities and inform decisions
  • Driving effectiveness and value by managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes with attention to detail
  • Building and influencing relationships across a global, matrixed organization, balancing stakeholder needs and driving alignment
  • Communicating clearly and concisely with both senior stakeholders and suppliers
  • Operating independently with sound judgment, while knowing when to escalate or seek input
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiations with strong commercial awareness
  • Demonstrating a customer-focused, pragmatic approach to delivering results

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a related field, ideally within a global or professional services environment
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing category strategies and leading end-to-end sourcing initiatives
  • Strong commercial acumen, including RFx execution, contract negotiation, and supplier management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment across regions and cultural contexts
  • Experience in contingent workforce sourcing, including exposure to vendor management systems (e.g., Fieldglass), SOW-based procurement, or MSP delivery models is preferred

Who You'll Work With

BCG spends ~$1.6B on goods and services globally. Enterprise Procurement & Payables (EP&P) ensures that BCG is supplied with goods and services that meet business needs, drive value, and optimize total cost of ownership.

EP&P is a growing, evolving function that has delivered significant value and is undergoing continued transformation to strengthen strategy, processes, systems, and governance. The team operates in a highly matrixed environment, requiring strong collaboration, alignment, and stakeholder engagement across regions.

You will work closely with Category Leadership within EP&P, regional procurement teams, and stakeholders across Finance, Legal, and business functions, as well as with external suppliers across the category portfolio.
