Drive Health & Safety Projects

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and operational leaders to implement initiatives and address site-specific and functional H&S challenges.

Ensure Compliance with Regulations

Partner with the Sr. Manager, Health and Safety to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, standards, and internal policies.

Ensure every province and Red Bull Canada site has a standard set of safety rules and guidelines in place to support provincial regulations.

Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to identify gaps and opportunities, and recommend practical corrective and preventive actions.

Stay current on regulatory changes and industry developments and provide input on updates needed to maintain ongoing compliance.

Report and thoroughly investigate all serious incidents of injuries, accidents, and near misses; identify root cause and recommend corrective actions. Document findings thoroughly and effectively and report to Management and appropriate government authorities in a timely manner.

Assist in ensuring that health & safety committees are in place, meeting regularly, and documenting their activities in accordance with provincial requirements.

Review site plans before work commences, identifying safety related risks.

Liaise with external parties such as government inspectors, sub contractors, and general public.

Work with the Talent Business Partners on serious injuries with respect to WSIB/WCB.

Support Risk Mitigation and Incident Management

Identify and assess health and safety risks across operations and support the development and execution of risk mitigation strategies.

Support or lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and ensure follow-through on preventive and corrective measures.

Contribute to the development, communication, and testing of emergency response plans and crisis management protocols.

Support the Talent Operations Team on safety compliance training in onboarding and yearly compliance training.

Champion a Culture of Health & Safety

Lead initiatives that build awareness, ownership, and engagement around health and safety at all levels of the organization.

Develop and deliver training, campaigns, and communication materials to reinforce health and safety practices, track completion and effectiveness, and ensure consistency across locations.

Act as a visible and credible advocate for health and safety, influencing leaders and employees and helping to embed safety into everyday decisions and behaviors.

Collaborate with Internal and External Stakeholders

Partner closely with the North American Health and Safety Team, HR, Operations, Distribution, and other internal stakeholders to align H&S priorities with broader business objectives.

Provide insights, recommendations, and coaching to leaders and teams to strengthen health and safety practices and decision-making.

Engage with external regulatory agencies, vendors, and H&S consultants to support compliance, benchmarking, and the adoption of leading practices.

Coordinate Health & Safety committee meetings: set agendas, document action items, communicate outcomes, and track progress on initiatives.

Monitor, Analyze, and Report on Health & Safety Performance

Maintain and continuously improve health and safety key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, including accurate records of workplace incidents and near misses.

Prepare clear, concise reports and summaries for leadership, turning data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Use data and trends to identify priorities, guide decision-making, and support continuous improvement across sites and functions.

Experienced health and safety professional with specialized expertise in H&S management or a closely related field.

Strong understanding of applicable health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices across Canada (including Quebec).

Strong knowledge of OHSA, WSIB/WCB, and applicable regulations in other provinces.
