Vaco is currently seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist!
Key Responsibilities
•
Payroll Management
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for [number] employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement and maintain payroll systems, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and provide insights for decision-making.

Benefits Administration
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits and payroll.
- Conduct benefits enrollment and educate employees on their options and programs.
- Analyze benefits trends and recommend enhancements to the benefits package.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field - preferred.
- 5 years of experience in payroll management and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations, as well as benefits compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
•
the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
•
licensure and certification requirements;
•
office location and other geographic considerations;
•
other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the referenced salary range ($25-$40/hr) reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
