Human Resources Specialist- West Valley!

Vaco Phoenix is looking for an HR Generalist for a top client in the West Valley. The HR Generalist will be responsible for open benefits enrollment, onboarding, employee relations, and day-to-day HR duties. This position is fully onsite paying up to $65,000 per year. Interviews are being held this week!

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve employee relations issues, while managing performance improvement plans.
• Advise both managers and team members on company policies, labor laws, and best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on HR programs, policies, and performance-related matters.
• Respond promptly and professionally to requests from corporate leaders and team members.
• Conduct thorough investigations into workplace complaints and document findings.
• Analyze investigative findings and recommend appropriate actions or solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports and summaries of investigation outcomes for management review.
• Guide candidates seamlessly through the pre-employment and onboarding processes.
• Lead New Staff Orientation sessions for corporate employees.
• Manage employee terminations, identifying and addressing potential employee relations concerns.
• Ensure full compliance with federal and state employee regulations.
• Represent the organization during unemployment hearings, ensuring proper legal procedures are followed.

Job Requirements

• Strong problem solving, reporting, and analytical skills
• Experience leveraging MS Office Suite, particularly Power Point and Excel, to present information and influence Leadership
• Superior knowledge of HRIS systems, and comfortable learning new technology systems, as needed
• 3 years of human resources generalist or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Employee Relations experience
