Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM

Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems that automate repetitive manual work in real environments. To move quickly on hardware, we need parts, materials, and vendors lined up without slowing engineering down.

Our hardware team depends on strong supply chain and procurement execution to keep builds on schedule, inventories organized, and critical items available when needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Supply Chain / Procurement Specialist at Droyd, you’ll own purchasing, vendor coordination, and parts logistics for the hardware team. You’ll help make sure the right parts arrive at the right time and that materials and inventory stay organized.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and excited to be a key part of a fast-moving hardware operation.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We’re an in-person company. We build faster that way.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL

  • Own purchasing and procurement for hardware parts, materials, and shop needs
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage quotes, orders, and lead times
  • Track inventory, deliveries, and part availability
  • Help organize incoming parts, materials, and hardware supplies
  • Work closely with engineers, technicians, and the shop team to anticipate needs
  • Reduce delays by keeping procurement and logistics running smoothly

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Has experience with procurement, supply chain, purchasing, or hardware operations
  • Can manage many moving parts and shifting priorities
  • Communicates clearly with vendors and internal teams
  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in robotics, manufacturing, hardware, or prototyping environments
  • Experience with BOMs, inventory systems, or vendor management
  • Experience supporting engineering or shop teams directly

ABOUT DROYD

Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems to automate manual work for enterprises. We design the hardware, write the control stack, and deploy robots that operate in real environments.

If we do this right, robots stop being prototypes and start being infrastructure.

Join us and help build hardware that ships.
