Specialist - Engineering Systems

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To manage and optimize the engineering systems engineering IT systems like AMOS, Airvault, RFID Aero check, Aero track, ATS, MDM - AirWatch. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that the engineering systems are operational and using its maximum available functionality.
• Manages service request and change request in conjunction with maintenance and engineering.
• Develops, implements, and controls changes to working practices to better suit the system.
• Manages engineering systems testing and acceptance during new release and patching.
• Acts as a focal point for the future development of the business intelligence system.
• Acts as focal point for engineering iPads and responsible for creating policies, controlling iPad application versions, review and publishing new application in the Air watch Mobile device management. .
• Manages the development of technology and delivers to engineering and maintenance e.g., iPad applications to line maintenance, RFID solutions, E-signatures etc. .
• Carries out business process mapping and determines the best course of action to implement change for engineering and maintenance. .
• Undertakes report requirement gathering across the engineering and maintenance area and evaluates the solution for report development.
• Manages relationships with relevant suppliers and other external stakeholders.
• Manages development of AMOS training modules for engineering departments and provides training as required.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates of engineering systems, including software, hardware, and databases.
• Collaborates with IT teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of engineering systems with the overall IT infrastructure.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on the proper usage and functionality of engineering systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related
• Fluent in English
• Years with qualifications: 8 - 10 years

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
