About the Role
As a Senior Analyst – Digital Marketing at Pearl, you will work to help improve the efficiency and reach of our paid search engine marketing (SEM) efforts through testing, spend optimization, and vertical expansion. What You’ll Do
- Take charge of the assigned strategic projects focused on optimization and growth across Google Ads.
- Conduct thorough audience/keyword research, analysis, and identification of opportunities to optimize SEM campaigns. Use audience/keyword research tools, search query data, and competitive research.
- Design and execute Google Ads Experiments to test and optimize Ads. Monitor the progress of internally run landing page tests, pricing tests and other product tests to stay updated on any impact on campaign performance due to those. Do dog-fooding of the whole customer flow (from ads to landing page to payment) to diagnose any performance issues.
- Use smart bidding strategies and effectively manage the SEM/PPC budget, track spends, and ensure it aligns with objectives and delivers an appropriate ROAS.
- Use Google Ads, Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Google Analytics etc. to analyze key metrics including conversions, revenue, margin and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), to understand the effectiveness. Identify, monitor and report on the trends and insights and make data-driven decisions to achieve our marketing goals.
- Work collaboratively with team members from Digital Marketing, Content, UX, Analytics, Engineering, and Product for achieving business goals. Routinely conduct competitive analysis and stay on top of industry developments.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s/Master's or advanced degrees in Business, Marketing, and Analytics, or related degree.
- 6 - 10 years of work experience in Digital Marketing.
- Significant experience with one or more of Google Search Ads, Microsoft Ads, GDN, YouTube, and Facebook Ads.
- Proficiency in Excel (You chew VLOOKUPs and SUMIFs for breakfast!).
- Analytical skills to interpret PPC data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Should be able to apply Segmentation (Device/Keywords/AdType/Account etc.), Pareto principle (80/20) to plan projects and debug performance issues.
- Hands-on experience in SQL is a strong plus.
- Comfort with Google Analytics, marketing technologies, conversion tracking, and tag management.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.), Programming background to smoothly interact with product managers/developers for creating automation tools for campaign management is desirable.
- Familiarity with the usage of LLM (prompting techniques, GPTs, etc.) for Digital Marketing/Analytical tasks is a nice-to-have.
- Take the initiative and demonstrate strong results orientation.
