Business Operations Specialist
Digital Transformation / Business Operations Team
We are looking for a skilled Business Operations Specialist to join our Digital Transformation / Business Operations Team, to help us fill the gap between Business and IT. This role sits within a strategic department, but it is primarily hands-on. The focus is on implementing, managing, improving, and supporting enterprise systems that are used across the business. The position works closely with many departments and requires someone who can understand business needs, translate them into practical solutions, and help teams use systems and processes effectively. The role covers several business domains across finance and operations, and enterprise platforms supporting them, including CRM, ERP, PLM, project management platforms, collaboration tools, giving a major opportnunity for growth in this role.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing improvement of enterprise business systems.
- Work with internal teams to understand requirements, identify process gaps, and propose practical improvements.
- Help manage and improve platforms in areas such as CRM, ERP, PLM, and project management.
- Provide training, enablement, and day-to-day support to business users.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, including process descriptions, user guides, system notes, and training materials.
- Support smaller projects and improvement initiatives, including coordination, follow-up, testing, and rollout activities.
- Analyze system usage, process performance, and business data to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement across tools, workflows, and ways of working.
- Act as a bridge between business teams, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
What we are looking for
- Experience working with business systems, enterprise platforms, automation and operational processes.
- A practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to move from analysis to execution.
- Good understanding of how business processes, systems, and data connect.
- Ability to work with different departments and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Experience with user training, support, and change enablement.
- Basic project coordination or project management experience.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to identify root causes, not just symptoms.
- Interest in continuous improvement and digital transformation.
- Fluent in English, any other languages are considered an asset
Helpful experience
Experience with one or more of the following areas would be an advantage:
- CRM systems
- ERP systems
- PLM systems
- Project management platforms
- Business process documentation
- Reporting, analytics, or dashboarding
- System testing and rollout support
- Vendor or implementation partner coordination
