Your mission

The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible, in close collaboration with Category and Project Sourcing Managers, to ensurethat the supplier base performance are in accordance with Epirocs expectations.

  • Development and implementation of category strategies according to the strategic priorities
  • Supplier audits incl. People and Planet assessment
  • Supplier base performance, follow up and escalation process (SQDP)
  • Pursue development of suppliers on performance according to established goals
  • Drive proactive activities to ensure best DFM/DFA/DFQ as well as sustainability
  • PQAP (Part Quality Assurance Process)
  • TSQP (Total Supplier Quality Process)
  • Review of Technical Specification (RTS) in Basic-, New- and CPI Development Projects/Activities
  • Case holder responsibilities
  • Surface Division representative in Global Supplier Development initiatives within Epiroc

Profile description

Your profile

Extensive experience in Supplier Development within Strategic Sourcing and the manufacturing industry. Project manager skillsand/or other leadership skills are preferred.

A university degree in engineering or corresponding experience and competence.

Trained/experienced auditor and Six Sigma or similar competence.

Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

You are well‑structured, curious and have a genuine interest in business and engineering, ideally combined with an interest insourcing.

You bring an agile mindset, the ability to build long‑term, trusting relationships, and a natural sensitivity to communication needsbetween Epiroc, suppliers and key stakeholders.

Location and travel

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel, both domestic and international.
